Most people would picture the classic bottled model which has an upturned blue plastic bottle sitting ontop of a plastic water dispenser with two taps- one blue one red. Similarly, when picturing this water cooler in the minds eye, many of us would conjour up images of dentists waiting rooms (dentists are all in favour of water coolers) or an open plan office complete with plants and coffee table. This would be a fair enough summation of how the water cooler features in our daily lives, but perhaps now it’s time to shake off these sterotypes and think outside the proverbial box.
