Bought this to replace my second HOT-1. HOT-1 all-in-one systems just do not seem to hold up – even with only modest use.
I really like this new system – separate tank from dispenser – have had it for a bit over a month and it is working out very well.

I replaced a bottom-of-the-line Home Depot model that leaked after just 2 yrs. The stainless steel tank on this one should be much better, especially with a 3-yr in-home warranty. Looks great & works flawlessly.

We had been wanting an instant hot water dispenser for years and had an outlet installed below the sink to prepare for it. After looking at all the options we came across this one that INCLUDED THE TANK and was the beautiful brushed nickel that we were looking for. With free super saver shipping and our Amazon Visa gift points we couldn’t pass up this great value! We are still discovering the benefits of having instant hot water and there are many. The Insinkerator web site has myriad uses for this great appliance.

WARNING I bought two different models of this unit at Home Depot today and both of them were designed for a counter top of less than one inch thick. Our counter top is over two inches. On a call to their 800 number they acknowledged that they have recognized the problem and the new models they are just now manufacturing have the deeper throats. which will fit counter tops of various thicknesses. It is unfortunate that neither in the on line product descriptions or on the exterior of the box was there any mention that the unit would fit only counter tops of less than one inch thick without a jerry rigged extension of some sort which you have to special order from the company..

We are very happy with the hot water dispenser. We use it mainly for hot tea and the water is instantly hot. Also the style is very much in keeping with our gooseneck faucet!
